Louise Tester’s paintings are influenced by the abstract expressionists, her life in the American West, and contact with some of America’s most recognized and respected artists.

Louise produced an exciting, ever-evolving work of oils and watercolors that culminated in the 1990’s with huge paintings punctuated with broad strokes of blazing colors. She drew with her paintbrush, not an artist’s pencil. The result is a body of work that is strong, bold and continually contemporary.
